Membership

Applying for membership is easy. Simply download this form, fill it out, print it and send it back. Dues are $20 per year. If you join mid-year, you also pay a pro-rated part of that year.

Membership entitles you to our quarterly Tico newsletter which keeps you up-to-date with all the association's activities. It containes news articles, historical tidbits, member reminiscences, reunion news, and naval stories of interest. You will also receive our annual roster of over 800 members which allows you to find and keep in touch with old shipmates. (It's also available online for paid-up members.)

The Association

The USS Ticonderoga Veterans Association is a non-profit Illinois corporation and was founded to perpetuate the the memory of USS TICONDEROGA CV/CVA/CVS 14, commissioned May 8, 1944 and USS TICONDEROGA CG 47 commissioned January 22, 1983 and to exchange mementos and memories of tours of duty and shall be a non-profit association.

Membership is open to all USS TICONDEROGA CV-CVA-CVS-14 and USS TICONDEROGA CG-47 personnel having served aboard these ships. In addition, membership shall be opened to other military or civilian official passengers who served aboard these ships while underway (such as flight and air group personnel, technicians, news media, space-moon shot recovery personnel, etc.). Associate membership shall be opened to relatives and friends of members who wish to participate in the association activities. An associate member shall pay annual dues and have all rights of a member except a vote in the business of the association.

The dues of the Big T Veterans Association of the USS TICONDEROGA shall be $20 per year per member for the fiscal year May 1 to April 30. New members pay for two years (pro-rated) when joining. Please use one of the links above to sign up. Thanks.
